Welcome to the NSF Project Site for Spring 2003. To find out about the project progress during the Fall semester, take a look at the NSF Fall 2002 site.

This site is maintained by graduate students in the George Mason University Graduate School of Education as part of the Immersion Program. Our instructor is Dr. Kevin Clark.

On this site you can find out more about the NSF Team and explore our project documents. The team business section is used by team members.

The name of our project, NSF, is derived from the National Science Foundation, the organization funding this project. We are working in partnership with Wesley Housing Development Corporation which owns Whitefield Commons in Arlington, VA. Together with members of the community, we are developing an online self-directed learning environment to be housed at the Whitefield Commons Community Resource Center.
